Scott Taylor

Group General Manager – Australia

Scott is the Group General Manager of Infigen Energy’s Australian business.

Scott is accountable for the operational performance of the assets, commercial performance of the business and continued growth in the Australian Energy market.

Scott previously managed Infigen Energy’s US wind energy business and was also involved in a number of line management, business transition, and strategy development roles both in Australia and the US since late 2006.

Prior to joining Infigen Energy Scott has held a number of senior management roles at QR, Tarong Energy, Energex, and Comalco Smelting.

Scott is a Graduate and facilitator with the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Fellow of the Risk Management Institute of Australia and Industry Fellow of the University of Queensland (UQ) Business School. Scott holds a Bachelor Degree of Science (UNSW), and post graduate degrees in Information Systems (UC) and Business Administration (UQ).


David Griffin

General Manager – Development

David is the General Manager of Development for Infigen Energy.

David has been instrumental in Infigen-Suntech proposal to the Solar Flagships Program, which has consolidated Infigen Energy's diverse development pipeline in solar photovoltaic energy projects.

David was responsible for leading the greenfield development of Infigen Energy's 89 MW Alinta Wind Farm in Western Australia and 140 MW Capital Wind Farm in New South Wales.

David was a Major in the Australian Army where he served for 13 years prior to establishing his own company and initiating the development of these wind farms. David has extensive knowledge of all facets of wind farm development, strong knowledge of the Australian market and current and emerging wind turbine generator manufacturers. He holds a Master of Arts (International Relations) from the University of New South Wales with additional qualifications in management.

John McDonald

Group Manager - Energy Markets

John is the Group Manager – Energy Markets for Infigen Energy.

John has overall responsibility for the energy market activities of the Australian business including the physical market activities such as dispatch of generation assets into the National Electricity Market, energy trading activities and the management of key corporate customer relationships.

John has over 25 years experience in the Australian energy sector covering electricity distribution, energy retailing and the wholesale energy segments - the past 14 years in energy trading of electricity, environmental and natural gas commodities.

Prior to joining Infigen Energy, John managed the eastern Australian merchant electricity and natural gas portfolio for Alinta Limited and has previously held roles with Ferrier Hodgson Electricity Pty Ltd (Australia’s first merchant retail electricity company) and EnergyAustralia. John holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Technology, Sydney, with additional electrical and energy derivatives qualifications.
