The Alinta Wind Farm commenced full operations in January 2006 with a total installed capacity of 89.1MW and a net capacity factor of 47.0%.

The Alinta Wind Farm consists of 54 NEG Micon NM82 - 1.65 MW wind turbines. It is located in mid northwest Western Australia, approximately 30km south east of Geraldton and 12 km inland from the Indian Ocean.
