Capital Wind Farm, NSW, Australia
The Capital wind farm (Capital) commenced full operations in October 2009, with a total installed capacity of 140.7MW. It comprises 67 Suzlon S88 wind turbines which all have a rating of 2.1MW. Capital is located near Bungendore in New South Wales, Australia and has a net capacity factor of approximately 35.8%.
The Capital wind farm was officially opened by The Hon Kevin Rudd MP, Prime Minister of Australia, on 18 November 2009.
