US07 Portfolio
The US07 Portfolio comprises interests in three large wind farms with a total installed capacity of 621.8MW. Securityholders approved the acquisition of the US07 Portfolio at the Annual General Meeting on 9 November 2007.
The US07 Portfolio will add an additional wind region with the Cedar Creek wind farm located in Colorado, and introduce an additional reputable turbine manufacturer, Siemens, into BBW’s portfolio.
On 22 November 2007 Infigen (formerly BBW) announced it had acquired the Cedar Creek wind farm as part of the US07 Portfolio acquisition in accordance with the terms of the Purchase, Sale and Contribution Agreement. There will also be a smaller subsequent closing for the remaining 20 turbines. BBW now expects the closure of these turbines to be achieved within calendar year 2007. The Cedar Creek wind farm has a total installed capacity of 300.5MW, of which 280.5MW is now fully operational.
The remaining assets in the US07 Portfolio are the Sweetwater 4 and Sweetwater 5 wind farms. Sweetwater 4 wind farm has a total installed capacity of 240.8MW and has been fully operational since May 2007. Sweetwater 5 wind farm has a total installed capacity of 80.5MW and has been fully operational since December 2007.
