Run with the wind at the Woodland Wind Farm

23 October 2012

Infigen Energy will host a family friendly fun run at its Woodlawn wind farm near Tarago, New South Wales, on 11 November 2012.

For those travelling from further afield, direct trains run to Tarago from Canberra, Goulburn and Sydney. A complimentary shuttle bus service will be available from the train station to the event. Tarago is approximately a 45 minute drive from Canberra and under 3 hours from Sydney.

Kids (under 16) run free and a $20-$30 entry fee applies to adults with all net proceeds going to support local community organisations.

“Not only do wind farms power our homes with clean electricity, they also provide an incredible backdrop to host a fun run!” says Frank Boland, spokesperson at Infigen Energy.

“There will also be attractive cash prizes for the first three male and female finishers,” he added.
