We are supporting the Mt Arthur Challenge
19 July 2018
Infigen Energy is a proud platinum sponsor of this weekend’s Mt Arthur Challenge in Wellington. As the owners of the Bodangora Wind Farm, Infigen Energy is committed to making a difference in the local community.
“We have sponsored this event for three years,” said Stuart Black from Infigen Energy.
“It’s all about fostering lasting relationships with non-profit organisations and we are pleased to be a part of this energetic event.”
The Mt Arthur Challenge includes the 5km Wallaby Run, the 9km Wedgetail Challenge and the 50km Limestone cycle ride in the beautiful natural surrounds of the bushland around Mt Arthur.
The annual event is organised by the Mt Arthur Challenge Committee as a fundraiser for the Mt Arthur Reserve Trust. Any funds raised are used towards the ongoing maintenance and management of Mt Arthur Reserve.
Mr Black described the challenge as an ideal event to promote.
“One of our key priorities is supporting the Wellington community. What better way to do that than to enjoy the Mt Arthur Challenge, which is all about fun, fitness and of course, energy.”
The wind farm development is progressing well, with two cranes working on site and 14 turbines installed. Component delivery continues via the Goolma and Gillinghall roads.
