George the Bull welcomes YES 2 Renewables to Capital Wind Farm
19 September 2014
Ride 4 Renewables is coming to the Capital wind farm. The ride gives people a chance to see wind turbines and solar power in action. The 15km family fun ride starts at 9am from Currandooley Road and finishes with a sausage sizzle provided by the Bungendore Men’s Shed.
“We get quite a high level of interest in visiting the Capital wind farm and have won the support of the Bungendore Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The wind farm featured in the photo that won third place in the Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2014 competition,” said Marju Tonisson, Communications Coordinator at Infigen Energy.
George the Bull, who made a submission to the review Panel of the Renewable Energy Target, will be present at the event as a spectator.
