Run with the Wind turns 5!

Australian Wind Farm Open Day 2016

This year wind farms all over Australia are opening their doors to visitors on Sunday, 16 October 2016. Infigen is hosting its annual wind farm fun run on that day at the Woodlawn wind farm, with hundreds of runners and spectators.

There are two race courses – 5km and 10km – to choose from. Walkers and runners, people in all ages, are welcome.

This year’s celebrity appearance is made by Bondi Rescue and surprise sport celebrities. Check out our Run with the Wind Australia Facebook community and the event website to hear more.

What is Run with the Wind?

It is a community fun run to invite people in the wind farm and raise funds for the local community.

Where is the Fun Run?

The race course is located amongst the wind turbines at the Woodlawn wind farm near Tarago, New South Wales. The wind farm is approximately a 45-minute drive from Canberra and 3 hours from Sydney.
